Teen dating violence is a public health crisis affecting millions of teens in the U.S. each year. In the state of Utah, 1 in 3 teens will experience some form of abuse in a relationship.

February is Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month. This important topic needs to be discussed thoroughly and without judgment. To combat teenagers being at risk of falling into a violent relationship, it is important to teach topics such as what healthy relationships look like, warning signs for abuse, and what consent is and looks like.

Learn more about creating awareness and education around teen dating violence throughout the month of February.
