ADVOCACY SERVICES


The Rape Recovery Center offers services for survivors at all stages of the recovery process. Our providers include a specialized team of advocates who provide trauma-informed services at a no cost.

These services include:

  • Advocacy services for survivors interacting with the criminal justice system. In adherence with the Prison Rape Elimination Act standards, Salt Lake County Jail, and Utah Department of Corrections, the PREA Specialist provides confidential and free advocacy, support, and crisis services to incarcerated individuals who have been sexually assaulted.

  • Advocacy for survivors with immigration concerns

  • Advocacy support and referrals related to the financial impact of a sexual assault

  • Advocacy support and referrals related to the physical and mental health impact of a sexual assault

  • Support groups and workshops
