We are in need of volunteers who want make a difference in our community but would like to commit to less than 100 hours or a one time services project. If this sounds like a fit for you we have the following opportunities:
Administrative and Special Projects – These positions offer a meaningful way to support survivors without being involved with direct services. Volunteers are needed for a variety of special projects, small tasks, and ongoing office work. Because our services depend so highly on donations of time and money, if you have a specific skill, we can probably find a way for you to make a difference. Graphic design and marketing, fundraising are a few examples. Let us know how you would like to help!
Court Ordered Community Service Volunteers –Rape Recovery center offers court ordered community service volunteers an opportunity to complete their hours by helping maintain our building, assist with bulk mailings and other projects. We cannot take any volunteers with domestic violence or sexual assault related charges.
Service Learning Students/Scouts/Donation Drives- The Rape Recovery Center provides opportunities for one time projects such as donation drives, building maintenance and awareness projects. You can find an updated list of our urgent needs here.
